It is December. My colleagues and I have decided to embark upon a great experiment we’re calling NSID – short for No Shaving In December. That’s right. A few of us, who I won’t name here, but you will be able to tell in a crowd should you bump into them in a dusty street in downtown Toronto or the dense snow-pack of Ottawa, are going to go for an entire month without shaving.

It’s not going to be pretty.
