I was surprised this morning when I did my update to today’s newest nightly of Namoroka and all of my extensions were disabled. I was extra-surprised when I tried enabling my extensions with Nightly Tester Tools and it didn’t work. Turns out that Mossop’s been busy implementing a patch for bug 521905.

New Firediff Alpha

Kevin Decker has posted a new version of the Firediff extension for Firebug which he’s calling “a major milestone”. While still not producing unified patches you can apply directly to your source code, it does create a “serialized version of the page state” you can then manually apply.

Copy Bookmarklet

I found a cool little feature this morning while poking around in Firebug’s command line code. If you expand the Console’s command line to the large area (using the little up arrow on the right of the command line), you can enter a block of text, nicely formatted. FireDiff extension for Firebug

Kevin Decker’s FireDiff extension for Firebug is 0.1 old! It’s still new, but could be the beginning of a one-stop-shop for getting diffs for changes to locally-modified DOM and CSS from Firebug.
You can grab it from the above link or browse the source code in Firebug’s svn repository. You will need Firebug 1.4a17 or higher.
